Scrimmaging

Last night's set of Men vs Women scrimmages was a lot of fun and a great chance to practice and enact our race plans! The men held their own, even though they were short a few benches. (The pitchers of Yuengling over at Grant's Bar afterwards helped make it an even better evening!)

Next week's scrimmage opportunity is Wednesday evening, June 14th: Paddlefish vs Steel City Dragons. Don't miss it!

Thank you for your help!

I was one of the ladies who had their car broken into last night. Several of your members pitched right in and started helping me. I believe one of them was Laurie. I don't know all of your names. Someone lent me their cell phone. Thank you.
Several of you took it upon yourselves to help clean up the broken glass out of my car!
Others offered words of encouragement and support. I was in a daze and if I missed thanking someone for their assistance, I extend my thanks and gratitude now. Thank you so very, very much.
I'm only sorry that I missed the fun afterwards but the thiefs also stole my contribution.

Regardless, it was a fun scrimmage...

The scoop on the cheese:

Fontinella

Robyn says it must come from Pennsylvania Macaroni in the Strip or Labriola's (Aspinwall, Penn Hills, Monroeville). Do not try to get it at a regular grocery store.
Robyn also says it needs to be a wedge cut from a wheel, not a shrink-wrapped package.
The olives were kalamata olives.

Cheers,
Mary S
