Ben's boat has won the Gold Medal in the 2000m race in the World Cup!!You can follow what's happening down-under at this website.
Came from behind to beat the 2nd place Brits--going away at the finish as
Stef described it ---with each paddle stroke at the end gaining a bench
length!
No sexy videos of Ben and the US team on YouTube yet, but I'm keeping my eyes peeled :)

OK - so I'm also not sure whether this should be great news or mixed news... I mean... my poor British counterparts. Maybe Ben started crying mid-race and my compatriots felt sorry for him so slackened off a little? ;)
