Philadelphia Festival
The Philadelphia Dragon Boat Festival is on our list of proposed races for the 2006 season. This festival fills up FAST; in fact, teams who sign up now are put on a waiting list!
Please mark your calendars: October 7, 2006. If anyone has a concern about including this race in our set of competitions next year, please let Laurie or Ben know ASAP.

Some general info for fresh Pfish on logistics for out-of-town races: we usually carpool and share hotel rooms, which helps to keeps the costs down. Expect a two-night stay (Friday and Saturday) for most events.
Skim through the June 2005 blog (go to http://paddlesup.blogspot.com/2005_06_01_paddlesup_archive.html) to get a sense of some of the details about the trip to Toronto, for instance.
Please ask me or any of the other "used" Pfish if you have any questions at all about what to expect for the out-of-town races!
