Planning for the Retreat
At Saturday's meeting a sign-up sheet was circulated to plan for meals at the retreat. It was agreed that we would follow the same arrangement as last year. Therefore, Friday dinner on your own; Saturday lunch and dinner with the group, as well as, Sunday lunch; breakfast with your cabin; bring the snacks and beverages you will want. As I recall last year, lots of extra snacks were brought to share so there should not be a shortage. The cabins are equipped with some pots, pans, and dishes but each cabin did need a coffee pot. Do we still have paper products somewhere?
Here is the list from Saturday:
Corned Beef (Mina and Judy)
Macaroni Salad (Judy)
Bread and sandwich vegetables (Mina)
Peanut Butter Butterscotch cookies (?)
We can probably use more side dishes.
Salad (Kathy R-D)
Kathy R-D is also bringing her famous bean dip. Georgia was volunteered to bring Whiskey cake (Georgia feel free to change this if you like!).
We need one or two main dishes and more sides.
No one volunteered for Sunday Lunch but last year this was a picnic after paddling.
